Preparing for Your Design Consultation: What to Expect & How to Get Ready
So, you’ve submitted your free design request—exciting! Now, what comes next? Within the next two business days, we will contact you to schedule a quick phone call. This is your opportunity to discuss your vision, fine-tune details, and to give you the best possible experience.

To make the most of your consultation, here’s what you can do to prepare:
Gather Inspiration
If you haven’t already, take some time to explore different kitchen, bath, or general interior design styles. Browse home improvement websites, Pinterest, and design magazines. Have a favorite color or finish in mind? Share it with your designer!

Think About Your Must-Haves
What’s most important to you? More storage? A specific door style? A specific finish or overall look? Consider making a list of features that matter most to your lifestyle so your designer can incorporate them.
Have Your Measurements Handy
Even though you submitted your measurements with your request, having them on hand during your consultation can help answer any quick questions. If you’re unsure about any dimensions, your designer can guide you through checking them.
Budget
Please have your cabinetry budget ready. Your designer will provide an estimate based on linear footage and options selected, this will help you to get an idea of pricing before design is completed.
Be Ready to Ask Questions
Your designer is here to help! Whether you're wondering about cabinet construction, finish durability, or layout options, don’t hesitate to ask.
Pro Tip: If you’re designing for a shared space, involve other household members in the discussion to make sure everyone’s needs are considered.
Understanding Our Role
We specialize in high-quality cabinetry—but we do not handle installation, nor do we supply countertops or appliances. Once your cabinetry is ordered, you’ll need a professional installer or contractor to complete the project. If you’re working with a contractor, be sure to share your design with them for final measurements and installation planning.
After your consultation, your designer will finalize the details and send you a customized cabinetry plan. From there, you’ll be one step closer to bringing your dream space to life!
